THE WILD CAMPOUT 2022/23 PREVIOUS PURCHASER PRE-SALE

Hey Wild Things!

We promised that everyone who purchased tickets to our cancelled 2021/22 event would be given first opportunity to purchase tickets to this year’s event. We know it’s hard to get tickets to The Wild so we are going to do our best to keep that promise as fairly as possible given our limited capacity.

This means we need to explain a few things so you Wonderful Wild Things understand how this is going to go down…
Please read the below carefully.
If you are receiving this email it means you were the lead person who purchased tickets to last year’s Wild Campout through either Humanitix.com in the pre-sale or general sale. Or, you purchased a ticket through Tixel.com in the re-sale.
Let us clarify the above…

If you purchased a ticket for a friend or friends and put their name into the “Ticket Name” field, they will not receive this email or be given a chance to purchase tickets in this pre-sale.

You are receiving this email because you purchased the tickets.

If you purchased multiple tickets for you and your friends to last year’s event, you will have the opportunity to purchase multiple tickets for you and your friends again in this pre-sale.

OK….Now that’s clear….
HOW WILL THIS PRE-SALE WORK?
You will have a window of 24 hours from 4pm August 17 – 4pm August 18 to purchase your tickets.
  • On August 17, at 4pm you will receive an email with a link to our ticketing website.
  • Once you follow that link you will be presented with a text field to enter an access code.
  • The email address you used to purchase your tickets to last year’s event is your access code. Enter that into the text field.
  • Once you have entered that code you will be taken to the ticket purchasing page.
  • You will have access to purchase the exact number of tickets you purchased to last year’s event in the same camping areas as last year’s event.

ie: if you purchased 3 x Grove tickets for last year’s event you will have access to 3 x Grove tickets for this year’s event.

  • Please select those tickets along with any vehicle passes and/or kids tickets you may need to purchase.

(You are not limited to the number of kids tickets or vehicle passes you can purchase)

  • Once you have all your tickets and passes please check out.
Remember: You will have a window of 24 hours from 4pm August 17 to 4pm August 18 to purchase your tickets.
At 4pm August 18 ticket sales will go off line.

It is imperative that if you wish to access this ticket pre-sale you do it in this window of time. We are only offering this to people who purchased tickets to The Wild Campout 2021/22.

If you miss this 24 hour window we are sorry but you have missed the opportunity to purchase tickets in this pre-sale.

All unsold tickets will be made available in a general sale in October 2022.

The exact date of this sale and the number of remaining tickets available will be advertised on our social media accounts.

Making sure you get the ticket link
If you have received this email you should receive the ticket link email on August 17 however, just to be sure, please add info@thewildcampout.com.au to your safe contact list.
Please be aware
Many email servers block bulk mail outs at their gateway so if we are not in your contact list our mail out may not make it to your inbox or junk folder. This is something we cannot control, so please check with your crew and make sure they received this email. If they haven’t received it please tell them to check their junk mail or other spam folders and remind them to add us to their contacts list.
We will be sending follow up emails between now and August 17 reminding everyone about the upcoming pre-sale.
Phew…that was a lot….we hope it made sense!
Feel free to contact us via info@thewildcampout.com.au if you have any questions.
