DOES MY NAME NEED TO BE ON THE TICKET

Yes. To ensure the validity of the ticket, we require your name to be on your ticket. At the event, gate staff will check to ensure your name on your ID matches the name on your ticket. 

 

CAN I CHANGE THE NAME ON MY TICKET 

Yes. Name changes are available through Tixel.com . Please note that name changes will incur an admin fee.

 

I HAVE SEVERAL TICKETS UNDER MY NAME. DO I NEED TO CHANGE THEM TO MY FRIENDS NAMES?

Yes, the tickets will need to have your friends name on their ticket. Tickets and ID will be checked on arrival.

 

REPLACING LOST TICKETS

If you cannot find your online ticket purchased through Humanitix, first please check your junk mail or any other promotional folders then email info@thewildcampout.com.au

 

I CAN’T GO ANYMORE. HOW DO I RE-SELL MY TICKET?

Sure you can! Head over to Tixel.com here and follow their process to list and resell your ticket.

 

MY TICKET HASN’T ARRIVED?

If your ticket hasn’t arrived in your inbox within 24 hours first check your junk mail, they often end up there. Still no luck? Please email: info@thewildcampout.com.au with the email address you booked the ticket through with your full name and details. We’ll come back to you ASAP.

 

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

There will be no refunds. The Wild runs rain, hail or shine. Artist schedule is subject to change without notice, there’s some things we just can’t plan for.

 

WILL THERE BE WRIST BANDS?

You will be issued a wristband when you have your ticket scanned at the gate.

Anyone without a valid wristband or with a forged/invalid wristband will be regarded as a trespasser and will be immediately ejected from the event and over to authorities. 

 

WHAT IF I LOSE IT?

There are no replacements for lost wristbands; the only way they can be removed is with scissors. Wristbands will not be replaced and cannot be transferred to friends.

 

CAN WE BRING KIDS

Yes, as long as they are accompanied by an adult at all times.   Children under the age 2 are free and kids between the ages of 2 and 14 will qualify for a kids ticket which is $45 and covers our venue charge.   All kids over the age of 14 will be required to purchase a full priced ticket.

All children, under the age of 14, will be issued with a second wristband that will note the child’s name, parents name, phone number and car registration.

 

IS CAMPING INCLUDED IN MY TICKET

Yes, free onsite camping is included in the ticket price. This year we have a range of camping options available from walk in camping to camping next to your vehicle and also bringing a caravan or RV to stay in. Our site is divided up into sections specific to each style of camping. Information about this will be sent out via our social media platforms and updated here on our website.

 

I WANT TO GLAMP THIS YEAR.

Sorry, there is no glamping this year. Come and be one of the regular folks and camp the old school way.

 

DO I HAVE TO BUY A CAR PASS

If you’re bringing a car, yes! Each VEHICLE requires a vehicle pass, not each person in the vehicle. If you have not pre-purchased your car pass you will need to purchase one at the gate for $40 for a car only pass or $80 if you are towing a trailer, caravan or in an RV.

 

HOW MUCH SPACE DO WE GET PER CAMPSITE

You are permitted to take as much space as your group requires. Although we have a large campground, we ask that you do not take up an excessive amount of space. To camp in larger groups please ensure your convoy arrives at the event together.

 

DO WE GET TO PICK OUR CAMPING SPOTS?

Our lovely placement team will place you in the next available spot in the area of your choosing.  If you wish to camp with your friends, please plan to arrive together.

There will be designated family camping and glamping areas that are in quieter spots, closer to amenities. Please read our camping info as our camping layout has changed this year.

 

IS THERE POWER ONSITE?

No, it’s time to unplug from your electronic devices.

 

CAN I BRING A CAMPERVAN OR CARAVAN

Yes. However, all flammables must be removed prior to the event, these include gas bottles.

Please also note that you are not guaranteed to camp near your friends in a campervan or caravan.

Campervan, Caravan & RV passes can be purchased here for $80.

 

CAN WE BRING A PORT-A-LOO

No. There will be plenty of toilet facilities around the site.

 

CAN WE BRING A COUCH

No. You cannot bring any couches or large furniture.

 

CAN I DRIVE TO THE FESTIVAL AND BACK EACH DAY

No, all guests are asked to enter and exit the event during designated times.  Cars are not permitted to be used at any times outside of these times (unless in an emergency) during the event.  If you are required to leave the event before the 2nd January for any reason, you will not be permitted to return.   

 

CAN I GET DROPPED OFF AND PICKED UP FROM THE EVENT

Yes, Just make sure you have all your necessary belongings and are ready to walk them in from the front gate as you will not be permitted to be dropped at your camping area.

 

WILL THERE BE A BUS?

No. We will not be arranging any bus or shuttle services.

 

WHEN WILL SET TIMES BE RELEASED

We will release the full schedule closer to the event date. Please note this is subject to change.

 

CAN I BRING ALCOHOL TO THE FESTIVAL?

YES! The Wild Campout is a BYO Festival, but we have a strict NO GLASS policy. Bottles will be confiscated at entry, so please decanter in advance.

 

BYO IS RAD! CAN I BRING MY WHOLE BEER FRIDGE?

We recommend no more than one carton/1x 700mL spirits per person as a maximum – please drink responsibly. If you are overly intoxicated, you may be asked to go back to your tent to sleep it off.

 

I LOVE GETTING ROWDY, IS THIS THE PLACE FOR ME?

Aggression or harassment will not be tolerated in any form.  If you behave like a dick, cause harm, threaten to cause harm, harass our guests or generally disrupt the event in any negative way, you will be escorted off the site and blacklisted for all of our future events.

 

CAN WE WEAR SHORTS?

Yes! But we hope you have a bit more imagination and get nice and dressed up over the course of the event.

 

IS THERE WHEEL CHAIR ACCESS?

Yes, however please be mindful that the event is set upon natural terrain and sometimes uneven. The Wild Campout has put provisions in place to best accommodate people using a wheelchair, but we want to do our best to meet your needs so please email info@thewildcampout.com.au with any special requirements you may have or for further information.

 

WILL THERE BE VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN OPTIONS ONSITE?

You bet?

 

WHEN DO I HAVE TO LEAVE?

The designated leaving times are:

January 1, 11am -2pm

January 2, 9am – 12pm

 

IS EFTPOS ACCEPTED ONSITE

YES, EFTPOS is accepted and there will be no ATMs on site but the Elixir bar, café and vendors will have EFTPOS machines. We still recommend bringing plenty of cash with you just in case.

 

IS THERE WHEEL CHAIR ACCESS

Yes, however please be mindful that the event is set upon natural terrain and sometimes uneven. The Wild Campout has put provisions in place to best accommodate people using a wheelchair, but we want to do our best to meet  your needs so please email info@thewildcampout.com.au with any special requirements you may have or for further information.

 

WHAT ITEMS ARE BANNED FROM THE FESTIVAL?

Glass, weapons, illegal drugs, Whipped Cream Chargers or “nangs”, fireworks, fire twirling devices, whips, flares, professional recording devices, laser lights, studded clothing apparel, any other items considered illegal or dangerous, animals…. Oh, and also dickheads.

 

WHAT’S UP WITH THE TOTAL FIRE BAN?

A total fire ban means that we don’t allow any fire, fireworks, candles, cooking facilities, flares, sparklers, gas bottles or the like. Please be aware that especially that time of year, there will be a total fire ban due to the extreme weather conditions. Anyone found with any of these items will be immediately ejected from the event and may be issued with fines.

 

WHAT IF THERE IS A FIRE?

In the case of a bush fire all exits will be closed. There is to be absolutely NO ONE leaving site. The safest place to be in a bush fire is at the muster point which is on the lawn right by the nice big water-filled lake.

 

WHAT MEDICAL FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

There will be full medical facilities available on site. You can find the location of these on our site map. If you have any trouble finding our first aid tent, don’t hesitate to ask one of our camp rangers for assistance.

 

I HAVE PRESCRIPTION MEDICINES THAT NEED TO BE STORED/ REFRIGERATED, IS THIS POSSIBLE?

Yes, please see our first aid tent immediately after you arrive so you can make arrangements with your medication.
